REFUND POLICY

OVERVIEW
All Products sold by Katharos Laboratories, Inc. (“Katharos”, “we”, “us” or “our”) are temperature-sensitive and require controlled storage conditions. To maintain product integrity and chain-of-custody standards, we maintain strict policies regarding cancellations, returns, and refunds as outlined herein (“Refund Policy”). This Refund Policy is incorporated into and subject to the Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) governing all Product purchases. Any capitalized terms not defined in this Refund Policy have the meanings provided in the Terms.
ALL SALES FINAL
Due to the specialized nature of our Products and the requirement for controlled storage and handling, all sales are considered final once shipped. We cannot accept returns or exchanges of Products that have left our facility, as we cannot verify that proper storage conditions have been maintained. This Refund Policy protects both Katharos and our customers by ensuring product integrity.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Order cancellations are accepted only prior to shipment. Once an order has entered fulfillment or has shipped, it cannot be canceled or modified. To request cancellation before shipment, contact us immediately at customerservice@katharoslab.com with your order number. We will confirm whether your order is eligible for cancellation. Orders canceled before shipment will receive a full refund to the original payment method.
MANUFACTURING DEFECTS
Katharos stands behind the quality of our products. If you believe you have received a Product with a manufacturing defect, meaning the product fails to conform to the specifications stated in the Certificate of Analysis (“COA”) at the time of shipment, you must notify us in writing within five (5) days of receipt.
To report a suspected defect, email customerservice@katharoslab.com with: (i) your order number; (ii) the product name and lot number; (iii) a description of the suspected defect; and (iv) any supporting documentation or photographs. We will review your claim and, if we confirm a manufacturing defect, we will, at our sole option, replace the Product or issue a refund for the purchase price of the affected Product.
DAMAGED, MISSING, OR INCORRECT ITEMS
All shipments are inspected and verified prior to release from our facility. If your order arrives with missing, incorrect, or visibly damaged items, you must notify us immediately upon receipt and no later than forty-eight (48) hours after delivery at customerservice@katharoslab.com.Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs of any damage (including packaging).
Our team will review each case and provide an appropriate resolution, which may include replacement of affected items or credit authorization, at our sole discretion. Claims submitted after the 48-hour window may not be eligible for resolution.
REFUND PROCESSING
Refunds are issued only under the following circumstances: (i) orders canceled prior to shipment; (ii) verified manufacturing defects confirmed by our quality assurance team; or (iii) verified shipping errors attributable to us. Refunds are not available for any other reason, including but not limited to change of mind, ordering errors by the customer, or Products that have been opened, used, or improperly stored after shipment.
Once a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method within ten (10) business days. Additional processing time may occur depending on your financial institution. If more than fifteen (15) business days have passed since your refund approval and you have not received your refund, please contact us at customerservice@katharoslab.com.
SHIPPING
Katharos currently ships only within the United States. We do not ship internationally. Any order placed for delivery outside the United States will be canceled and refunded. We assume no responsibility for orders shipped to forwarding services or for any attempt to redirect shipments outside the United States.
Products are shipped with appropriate temperature controls when required. Risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. If tracking shows a package as delivered but you have not received it, please contact the carrier directly and file a claim.
STORAGE REQUIREMENTS
Products must be stored in accordance with the applicable specifications. Failure to maintain proper storage conditions after delivery may result in Product degradation. We bear no responsibility for Products that have been improperly stored, and claims based on Product degradation due to improper storage will not be honored.
PRODUCTS FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY; NO MEDICAL USE
All Products sold by Katharos are intended for in-vitro laboratory research purposes only, they are not intended for human consumption, medical, veterinary, agricultural, pesticidal, diagnostic, therapeutic, household, or any other non-research purposes.
Products are not intended to be drugs, medications, or pharmaceutical preparations as defined by the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (“FDCA”). Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or condition. Research chemicals must not be confused with dietary supplements, drugs, food additives, or any other regulated substances. All information provided on this Website is for educational purposes only and has not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) for any purpose.
Products have not been evaluated, cleared, or approved by FDA or any other regulatory authority as drugs, medical devices, dietary supplements, foods, cosmetics or biologic products. Products are not compounded drugs. Katharos is not a “503A” compounding pharmacy, “503B” outsourcing facility or chemical compounding facility as defined under the FDCA.
BY PURCHASING OR USING ANY PRODUCTS FROM US, YOU AGREE THAT YOU ARE ACQUIRING RESEARCH CHEMICALS SOLELY FOR QUALIFIED LABORATORY RESEARCH CONDUCTED BY QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MAY ANY PRODUCT BE ADMINISTERED TO HUMANS OR ANIMALS, OR USED IN ANY MEDICAL PROCEDURE OR VETERINARY CARE. ANY SUCH USE IS EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED, ILLEGAL IN MANY JURISDICTIONS, AND ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

We will assist customers by addressing their inquiries related to product characteristics, specifications, and usage guidelines. However, we cannot provide guidance, advice, or assistance specific to research activities. We are dedicated to maintaining the highest ethical standards and providing exceptional customer service. By clearly stating our non-engagement in research, we aim to ensure transparency, focus on our core business operations, and meet the needs of our customers effectively. We encourage customers to consult with appropriate research institutions and professionals for guidance on their research projects.
Continued access to or use of this Website, Products, or Services constitutes your full agreement to our Terms. Any violation of these Terms, including misuse of Products, will result in immediate and permanent suspension of access to all Services, with no right of appeal. Wereserve the right to perform due diligence screening upon the information provided to check for accuracy. We, in our sole discretion, may require further verification of affiliation prior to order fulfillment.
